Animalhotels is an app that works like Airbnb – but for animals. It connects pet owners, who often travel for business or leisure, with trusted caretakers ready to provide their pets with warm and homely care.

The Story of Animalhotels

We created Animalhotels with pet owners in mind – those who need reliable and professional care for their animals while they are away, at work, or facing other life situations — from dogs and cats to rodents, birds, or even reptiles!

From the very beginning, we enjoyed helping and getting involved in initiatives that not only allowed us to grow but also gave something good back to others. Every such action made more and more people hear about Animalhotels and our mission.

We created non-profit projects such as pomocniludzie.pl, supported shelters, shared our experience with students and young startups. Sometimes we donated prizes to foundations, other times we built websites that helped in times of crisis. Each time, we were driven by the desire to do something more than just grow our own business.

And it is precisely thanks to this – thanks to openness, collaboration with people, and giving value – that Animalhotels today operates in over 150 countries.

Mission, Vision, Goal

Mission – we connect pet owners with trusted petsitters and pet hotels. Our mission is to ensure that every pet receives caring, tailored support during their owner’s absence. We want to provide owners with a solution that gives them peace of mind and confidence that their pet is in good hands, while pets enjoy comfort and happiness.
Vision – we envision a future where every pet owner, anywhere in the world, has quick and easy access to the best care for their pet. Animalhotels will become a global community of trusted caregivers.
Goal – our goal is to build the world’s largest network of petsitters and pet hotels and to attract millions of active users. We strive to constantly improve the app so that booking care is simple and fast, while ensuring the customer experience is truly exceptional. At the same time, we are developing a global community of animal lovers based on trust, recommendations, and mutual support, building a brand that pet owners naturally recommend to one another.

Our Achievements

Since the launch of Animalhotels, a lot has happened — and we’re truly proud of it. 🚀 Today, our app already has 70,000 users, and we are supported by 17 business angels who believed in our vision and joined the project.

We’ve also had the opportunity to showcase Animalhotels at some of the world’s biggest innovation events – Web Summit in Lisbon and Qatar, as well as Viva Technology in Paris. These experiences not only gave us a huge dose of inspiration but also opened doors to new contacts and collaborations.

Co-Founder and COO - Chief Operating Officer

Sets the company’s development direction, responsible for Animalhotels’ international strategy and expansion. Oversees daily operations and process efficiency within the organization. Ensures effective strategy implementation and team coordination so that all elements of the tech company work in harmony. Focuses on data analysis and business process automation, supporting the app’s performance across multiple markets.

Damian Sakwiński

CTO – Chief Technology Officer

Responsible for the technological development of the company and the expansion of the app’s technical infrastructure. Oversees system architecture, ensures data security, and implements new technological solutions that support product scaling.

Leads marketing activities and shapes the long-term brand promotion strategy. Ensures a consistent image of Animalhotels, manages the execution of effective advertising campaigns, and supports the company’s brand recognition in international markets. Product Designer

Ensures visual consistency and the development of product features. Designs solutions that make the app easier to use for both caretakers and pet owners. Prepares and analyzes documentation, supporting design and implementation processes.

Natalia Gielec

Office Manager

Responsible for organizing and coordinating the company’s daily operations. Oversees smooth administrative, HR, and financial processes, while maintaining order in documentation and ensuring efficient information flow. Supports the team in operational and HR activities, coordinates meetings and company initiatives, making sure the entire organization runs in a structured and effective way.

Customer Experience Specialist

Builds lasting relationships with users by supporting them in resolving ongoing issues related to bookings. Actively gathers feedback to better understand how the app is perceived and to identify areas for improvement.

Paweł Szczepankiewicz

Front-end Developer

Responsible for the technical development and maintenance of the web and mobile applications, ensuring their performance, stability, and modern design. Supports the selection of appropriate technologies, contributes to creating intuitive and user-friendly solutions, and ensures the seamless operation of all application components.

Social Media Specialist

Responsible for developing the online community by creating engaging and inspiring content that builds strong relationships with audiences. Focuses on monitoring the latest trends and ensuring brand communication consistency, making sure every interaction is valuable and aligned with community expectations. Through these efforts, supports the growth of a strong and recognizable brand presence on social media.
