  1. To protect the privacy rights of users of the Website and the Application animalhotels.com, and to comply with legal requirements, animalhotels.com provides users of the Website and the Application with this Privacy Policy, in which it explains and informs how users' personal data is processed and secured.
  2. Animalhotels.com processes personal data in compliance with applicable law, including the GDPR and the Act of July 18, 2002, on the provision of electronic services.

Henryka Sienkiewicza 72) registered in the Register of Entrepreneurs, whose registration files are kept by the District Court for Łódź-Śródmieście in Łódź, XX Commercial Division of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000934860, REGON 520527265, NIP 7252314345, with a share capital of PLN 116,200.00.

Application – the mobile application animalhotels.com for Android and iOS systems provided to Users.

User – a natural person whose personal data is processed by animalhotels.com in connection with the use of the Website and/or Application animalhotels.com.

Personal data – means any information about an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject").

GDPR – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

Service – the website animalhotels.com made available to Users at www.animalhotels.com.

I. Collection and processing of data

  1. The administrator of the personal data provided by the User during the use of the Website and/or Application is animalhotels.com.

Providing data by the User is voluntary, but some data is necessary to create an account or use some functionalities of the Website and/or Application, such as receiving a newsletter. If data is collected to fulfill a legal obligation, providing such data is mandatory.
  4. After registration and logging into their account, the User may provide additional personal data, which may facilitate the use of the services.

Animalhotels.com processes personal data to deliver content and services to Users, including informing them about available content and services in the Website and/or Application.

III. Data retention period

  1. Animalhotels.com stores users' personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected. After that, the data is deleted or anonymized so that it is impossible to identify the user.
  2. Personal data may be retained longer if required by law or necessary for animalhotels.com to defend or pursue claims against users.

IV. User rights

V. Profiling

Users' personal data processed for marketing purposes will be subject to automated decision-making processes, including profiling. This means that based on the personal data held by animalhotels.com and information about the services purchased by the user or cookies stored on the user's device, animalhotels.com will make inferences about the user's preferences and interests, which may be used to build a marketing profile.

  5. Two main types of cookies are used within animalhotels.com: "session" cookies and "persistent" cookies. "Session" cookies are temporary files stored on the user's end device until they log out, leave the website, or turn off the web browser. "Persistent" cookies are stored on the user's end device for a period specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the user.

Without user intervention, these buttons do not send any data to the respective social networks when visiting the Website and/or Application. Only after clicking the relevant button is a direct connection to the server of the respective social network established, and it can then collect data and use cookies.

X. Data security

Animalhotels.com employs comprehensive technical and operational safeguards to protect users' data from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized persons. As technology advances, the safeguards employed by animalhotels.com are regularly reviewed and updated.

XI. Selected methods of personal data protection

  1. Login and data entry locations are protected at the transmission layer (SSL certificate). This ensures that personal data and login data entered on the website are encrypted on the user's computer and can only be read on the target server.
  2. User passwords are stored in a hashed form. The hashing function works one-way – it is impossible to reverse its operation.
  3. Animalhotels.com periodically changes its administrative passwords.
  4. To protect data, animalhotels.com regularly backs up data.
  5. All software and programming components used by animalhotels.com for data processing are regularly updated.

XII. Changes to the Privacy Policy

Animalhotels.com aims to provide the most up-to-date Privacy Policy and GDPR compliance. In case of changes to the law, court rulings, guidelines from authorities responsible for overseeing data processing, changes in technology, methods, purposes, or legal bases for processing personal data, animalhotels.com will make appropriate amendments to this Privacy Policy and GDPR, of which users will be informed by sending an email to the address provided by the user or via SMS to the user's phone number, as well as by a notification displayed on the Website and/or Application.
