Arkadiusz always left his dog, Stella, under the care of his family during his trips. However, since he moved from Katowice to Gdańsk with his family, he had to come up with another way to find a temporary guardian for his dog. The holiday was approaching and a trip with the dog was out of the question. This is how he found our website animalhotels.co.uk.
The doubts were mainly from my children and wife. I took this task upon myself (Arkadiusz).
Putting the dog in the care of a stranger was something new for Arkadiusz and his family. They had some doubts they had to overcome due to the upcoming departure. Together, they decided to choose a sitter and, as Arkadiusz jokes, it was a kind of casting. Looking through the offers, they came across Natalia, the sitter. She accepted dogs in her home together with her partner.
I always suggest introductory meetings - a walk with the dog - it is also a form of calming the dog down and ensuring that it feels good at my place (Natalia).
Arkadiusz and his family liked Natalia's offer because "it was natural and did not promise anything." He drew attention to the friendly photos of the sitter with dogs that had already been taken care of by Natalia. He said that his intuition told him that she would be the perfect sitter for Stella and decided to hire her without an introductory visit.
You often think - how is the dog feeling, does it feel good and is it treated properly. I try to calm the owners down and send them a photo and short information every day about how their dogs are doing at my place (Natalia).
When the dog was taken to the sitter, Arkadiusz met Natalia for the first time. A few minute conversation with her and her partner was enough for him to dispel his doubts and enjoy his vacation. As he told us, they received daily messages about Stella's well-being and several photos showing how sweetly she was resting in the company of her new friend. They saw that she was in good hands.
So far, the family has used Natalia's service twice. In January, when the female dog was coming back home after an 8-day stay with the sitter, it was hard for them to part.
We are already planning a vacation with Ms Natalia (Arkadiusz).
I love that I discovered this site. I had already suggested to my friends that I would be happy to take care of their dogs, so when I discovered animalhotels, I felt that I was in the right place.
