How is the cancellation process?

Each caregiver sets their own cancellation terms. It is essential to read the cancellation terms before making a reservation. If you cancel the reservation, the reservation amount will be refunded according to the caregiver's rules.

Example

Here is an example model of cancellation terms:

7 days or less before the start of care - 50% refund for the client

3 days or less before the start of care - 25% refund for the client

0 days or less before the start of care - 0% refund for the client

Below is an explanation of the settlement based on the example cancellation terms:

  • The client paid for the care PLN 240.00 (including the animalhotels service fee). The caregiver is due PLN 200.00 and the application PLN 40.00.
  • From 'today' to 8 days before the start of care (inclusive), the client will receive a 100% refund.
  • The client will receive a refund of PLN 240.00.
  • From the 7th day before the start of care (inclusive) to the 4th day before the start of care (inclusive), the client will receive a 50% refund of the funds due to the caregiver and 50% of the service fee
  • The client will receive a refund of PLN 100.00 + PLN 20.00, i.e. PLN 120.00.
  • The caregiver will receive a transfer of PLN 100.00 for the care that did not take place.
  • PLN 20.00 will remain at animalhotels.
  • From the 3rd day before the start of care (inclusive) to the 1st day of care (inclusive), the client will receive a 25% refund of the funds due to the caregiver and 25% of the service fee
  • The client will receive a refund of PLN 50.00 + PLN 10.00, i.e. PLN 60.00.
  • The caregiver will receive a transfer of PLN 150.00 for the care that did not take place.
  • Animalhotels will have: PLN 30.00.
  • Case 0 days - If the client cancels on the day the care starts, then:
  • The client will not receive a refund
  • The caregiver will receive a transfer of PLN 200.00
  • Animalhotels will have PLN 40.00

In a situation where a discount coupon is used, the application will take into account the amount after the discount.

The funds paid for the reservation will be returned within 5-10 business days by the payment operator.
