On 03/12/2025 an update to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of the animalhotels website and application comes into force, resulting from the need to adapt the documents to the changes to the website and application that will be implemented in the near future and to clarify the existing provisions of the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
In addition, we are also making editorial changes to improve the clarity of the Privacy Policy.
The most important changes
Privacy Policy version 5.0.0
- We have added information about the data retention period, including:
- 1 month for remembering user preferences (CookieScriptConsent);
- 1 year and 1 month for maintaining user's session after login.
- We have introduced details on the purpose of remembering user preferences regarding consent to cookies.
- We have expanded the information on marketing tools, adding:
- Google Ads and Microsoft Bing Ads (including Microsoft Clarity).
These changes are intended to provide greater transparency on the use of cookies and to make our policy more tailored to our users' needs.
Terms and Conditions version 6.0.0
- Change to point XII – adding a flat fee of £5 to each reservation.
- Change to one of the sub-points in XVIII – the calculation of points for a completed reservation has been modified. From now on, pet sitters will receive additional points for completing another reservation with the same client.

Pursuant to the Terms and Conditions of the website and application, the User shall have the right, prior to the effective date of the changes to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, to terminate the agreement without incurring any fees with effect from the date on which the User is informed of the planned changes, but no later than the date on which the changes would have been applied. In the event that the User submits a written objection to the changes to the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy and does not terminate the agreement, the agreement shall terminate on the day prior to the date on which the proposed changes become effective, without the User incurring any additional fees for doing so.
