Each petsitter has 5 minutes to decide whether they want to take care of a given pet. This short time frame is crucial, as speed of response is one of the most important factors at Animalhotels.
Requests are sent simultaneously to many nearby petsitters, and those who respond the fastest have the greatest chance of securing the booking.
The client sees the first 5 petsitters — that is, the fastest ones who accepted the offer. Other caretakers are placed in a queue based on the order of their responses and are shown if earlier petsitters withdraw or do not meet the client’s requirements.
Thanks to this system, pet owners receive quick responses, and petsitters can easily gain bookings based on their response speed and availability.
