Registration with Stripe is semi-automated. The system will fill in some data for you but you need to enter a few important details manually (bank account number, phone number, etc.). Your phone number will also be verified with a six-digit code sent by SMS.
Here are the steps you need to follow during the registration:
- Log in to your animalhotels account. Go to the Panel, and then from the side menu, select Care Offers. At the top of the panel, you will see a message: Connect the operator to receive payments, and next to it, a Connect Payments button.
- Click the Connect Payments button. This button will automatically redirect you to the Stripe website. The Stripe panel will appear. The registration is semi-automatic so some data will be filled in by the system. The first step is the email. It will be automatically entered for you. Click Continue to proceed.
- In this step, your phone number will be verified. Within a few seconds, you receive an SMS with a six-digit code, which you need to enter in the appropriate field.
- After entering the correct code, you will be automatically moved to the next page. Here, as a Sitter, you operate as an Individual. This choice will be automatically made for you, so select Continue.
- In the next step, in the Industry field, choose Other Services For The Public. Then, in the Company Website field, paste the link to your offer on animalhotels.com. You can retrieve it from the offer preview available in your panel under the Care Offers tab. Note: The term Company in this context does not mean a registered business. - At this stage, Stripe needs to obtain information about the currency of your payments and the account number where your earnings will be deposited.
- In this section, check if your details are correct. If everything looks good, select Done. After clicking the button, your data will be verified in real-time.
