Starting the process:
Complete the request form in the mobile app. You can find it in the booking details during which the incident occurred. Ensure all information is accurate.
- Veterinary incidents:
- Agree with the sitter on how to cover the treatment costs (fully or partially).
- Pay the bill and report it to animalhotels.
- Attach documents: receipt, invoice, bill, pet’s photo, health record scan, and veterinarian confirmation.
- Provide the treatment cost and your bank account details (or the sitter’s account if they are to receive the refund).
Note: Missing documents will delay the request review process.
- Substitute sitter:
- Simply indicate the need for a substitute sitter in the form.
- No description or attachments are needed.
- Provide your bank account details for a refund if the new sitter costs more (up to 100% of the original sitter’s price).
